Audi offered a new optional Music Interface for the A5, A6, A8 and the Q7, allowing owners to fully integrate Apple’s new iPhone with their car’s MMI interface, Leftlane revealed. Alongside the standard hands-free functions (accept/reject call/hands-free), the mobile phone preparation supports the display of the signal strength and the provider’s name, in addition to the transfer of the telephone directory including the icons ?Work?, ?Home?, ?Mobile? and the call lists, the report continued.

Separately, the German automaker has added a 1.4-litre turbocharged gasoline engine with direct injection technology to the A3. Askaprice revealed that the new engine is available in the A3 and A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI models outputs 124 horsepower and is available from ?16,365. The 1.4 replaces the 114 horsepower 1.6-litre model that produces 148lb-ft of torque from 1,500rpm, hitting 62mph in 9.6 seconds, topping out at 126mph and returning 43.5mpg. What is more, carbon emissions are at 154g/km.
